Join us for a hike through time to celebrate Hampstead's 275th anniversary.

On this hike, which is a repeat of our March hike, we will explore an important part of Hampstead's history; those sites related to the Boston & Maine Railroad that passed through West Hampstead. We will visit the site of the 1870's-1913 station, the 1915-1934 station, the 1911 train crash, and we will also explore Ordway Park and see the Methodist Church and Good Templar/Ordway/Sanborn Hall.

The hike will be about 2-3 miles with almost no elevation gain/loss as we will be hiking the Rockingham Recreation Trail which is the old rail bed. We will aim to make it a 2 hour hike. Sturdy, waterproof footwear is recommended.
