This educational seminar will cover everything Medicare. From the basics of costs and coverage, when to sign up and estimating healthcare costs, to demystifying Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage. We will go over avoiding common mistakes, avoiding IRRMA, how it plays into the full retirement picture, and how to review coverage yearly. 

This will be collaborative with the opportunity to ask questions.

About the presenter: Christopher Adams (Edward Jones), CFP, ChFC

I didn't grow up dreaming to be a financial advisor. Sometimes life leads you where you were always meant to be. Growing up in rural New Hampshire, I've always had an appreciation for this area. My background is in education, psychology and finance. As captain of our collegiate lacrosse team, I found fulfillment in leading by example and guiding others. It all came full circle when looking inward to my own life. My mom is a quadriplegic from a car accident that happened when I was in middle school. When becoming more involved with her finances as an adult, through a negative experience I realized the true difference a positive relationship with a financial advisor could make. I immediately fully jumped into this role and haven't turned back since.

My career with Edward Jones started in December 2011. With experience at my side, I look forward to many years helping my clients at the only career I ever intend to know. I serve individual investors interested in developing long-term investing strategies. I believe it’s important to invest my time in understanding what you’re working toward before you invest your money. I use an established process, with you at the center, to help you build personalized strategies to reach your goals.

This community is important to me. It's an honor to serve as president of the Greater Salem NH Rotary Club. I am a member of the Hampstead Lions Club and have coached Hampstead Youth Lacrosse. I assist with adaptive skiing through the New England Healing Sports Association at Mt Sunapee.
