Historical Hampstead Trolley Tours @ Town Office

Monday, August 124:00—8:30 PMCommunity Calendar

We are excited to offer Historical Hampstead Trolley Tours! Three tours are available to take you on a historical trip through Hampstead: 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM, and 7:00 pm. Sign up here or at the Hampstead Public Library to reserve your spots on the trolley for a journey back in time!

The tours will be narrated by our own town historians, Rob Morris and Jim Wilkinson, as they stop and tell the tales of what Hampstead was like in yesteryear.

Did you know the town hall was once Hampstead High School? Did you know Hampstead had a shoe factory at Shop Pond that was ruined by a fire? How about Don's Market being an old school house? These tid-bits, facts, and many more stories will be told along the way. So, join us for a beautiful and informative trolley ride back in time.

The trolley ride is free to help us celebrate Hampstead 275th Anniversary!

Trolley rides will begin AND end at the town hall. Iced Twice will be on hand to offer some ice cream treats for purchase!!!

Please arrive a bit early so we can load precisely at the trolley start time. Each tour will be last approximately 1 - 1.5 hours including loading and unloading.
