Penning the Perfect Obit Workshop

Saturday, November 410:30—11:30 AMMeeting RoomHampstead Public Library9 Mary E. Clark Drive, Hampstead, NH, 03841

No one likes to think about writing an obituary, and yet this small contribution to the weekly newspaper is a vital narrative. Obituaries can celebrate life, personality, struggles and triumphs. Unfortunately, obituaries are often left to the last minute, relying on the most willing family member to dig up details. Why not take a moment now to write that obit? Do it for yourself or do it for someone else.

Author presenter Erin Moulton we will lead us in this workshop as we:

- Examine a variety of obituaries

- Discuss standard framework and structure of these vital narratives

- Brainstorm big life highlights to include

- Scribble it all down

Participants will leave with a rough draft to polish. Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be served!
