Toddler Talk and Play

Thursday, November 169:30—10:30 AMProgram RoomHampstead Public Library9 Mary E. Clark Drive, Hampstead, NH, 03841

New in 2023: The Hampstead Public Library has partnered up with the Children's Museum of New Hampshire to bring new play-based learning opportunities to young children. Our Talk and Play programs will feature toys provided by this grant partnership!

Children learn through play. These programs will provide opportunities for play-based learning and social learning for our littlest library friends. Each week, Miss Jenn will share a book with the children and share a variety of toys and manipulatives for them to explore. The majority of the program will be unstructured playtime. Caregivers may guide play or let their children's imaginations take the lead. Toddlers will have opportunities to learn gross motor and fine motor as well as pre-literacy and social skills through play. Parents are welcome to bring a snack for their child.

These programs are designed for ages 0-2, though older siblings are welcome!
