Women's Circle

Monday, January 226:30—8:00 PMMeeting RoomHampstead Public Library9 Mary E. Clark Drive, Hampstead, NH, 03841

This month's focus will be exploring Mandalas by creating one together as a group.

The word Mandala in the Indian language Sanskrit is loosely translated to circle. It's going to be made of whatever people want to bring, so attendees are encouraged to bring something to contribute to the Mandala. It can be anything - a group of buttons, pasta, ribbon or whatever you'd like to add.

At the end of the circle we'll be dismantling it as a way to embrace the present moment and break attachments to past, future and material things. The items can be discarded or taken home with you.

What’s a Women’s Circle?

A women’s circle is a welcoming, safe, supportive and revered space for women to come together to be heard and seen. Women throughout history have gathered in circles to empower, support, and share wisdom with each other. These affirming community gatherings encourage women to get in touch with their own strength, creativity and wisdom. The women's circle is open to all adults identifying as female.

Circles will be held once per month from 6:30-8pm.
