Xploration STEM Plasma Science

Wednesday, October 253:00—4:00 PMMeeting RoomHampstead Public Library9 Mary E. Clark Drive, Hampstead, NH, 03841

Xploration STEM is back with their new Plasma Science program!  We have a feeling that the atmosphere will be electric!  This hands-on program will have kids experimenting and learning in a fun, engaging way.

Let’s bring plasma into the library! It doesn’t sound possible does it? With Xploration’s specialized equipment they will bring several experiments to the library all aligned with Next Generation Science Standards. Students will be actively participating in experiments while the instructor is explaining what’s happening. Watch how positively charged electrons make objects fly, positively charge your hair, make lights turn on without using batteries, create sparks and so much more. All these hands on experiments give kids experiences to be remembered. They will end the workshop with a custom indoor lightning show using their own Tesla Coil.

Recommended for grades 3-6.

Registration for this event has now closed.
